Carrie Ganci-Clodi
Carrie brings a uniquely powerful combination of legal knowledge and real-world experience to her estate planning practice. With more than 25 years serving in public education, including over two decades as a Director of Special Education, Carrie spent her educational career advocating for individuals with disabilities and the families who support them.
In 2017, Carrie earned her Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University Law School. Since that time, she focused her legal practice on estate planning with a particular emphasis on planning for the long-term future of families with young adults with disabilities. Previous services included Medicaid asset protection trusts, guardianship, and comprehensive estate planning tailored to the unique needs of each family. Additionally, Carrie serves as an Assistant Public Defender in the Juvenile Courtroom in Kankakee County (IL).
Carrie’s background in special education gives her an uncommon depth of understanding, not only of the legal tools available to families, but of the real-life challenges, transitions, and decisions they face. She is committed to providing compassionate, informed counsel that helps families plan with confidence.
In her spare time, Carrie enjoys sharing her expertise as an adjunct professor at the collegiate level, where she has taught for over twenty years in the areas of educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, business law, and educational law. Outside of work, she is the proud mother of three young adult children and loves spending time in nature and exploring new hiking trails!
